Jag har precis gjort klart min Kællingesjal och jag är supernöjd men den. Den såg ut som ett missfoster innan blockningen men som alltid så sker under när man blockar.I have just finished my Kællingesjal and I'm very happy with it. It looked like a freak before blocking but, as always, blocking creates miracles. Well, don't look too carefully... I have worn it quite often so it has been slightly deformed. I think I have to block it again someday soon... Is that normal? I mean, after blocking the shawl is perfect, but after been worn about 10 times it looks like this... Does this mean that I'm forced to keep blocking over and over my entire life? Is this what knitting is all about? Maybe I just should stop knitting fancy shawls with a million edges and just making hats...
I have made it in black Garnstudio Alpacka, a yarn not quite in my taste but to this project - perfect. To take photos of black on a white table in a studio give no color vibrant pictures but sometimes "less" is really "more".
